On April the 19th we held our APPG meeting on mental health for people with long term conditions alongside the APPG on Parkinson’s.
We had an excellent panel made up of:
- Dr Jennifer Foley, Neuropsychologist at National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
- Dr Amrit Sachar, Liaison psychiatry consultant, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust & West London NHS Trust
- Liz Barnes, expert by experience
- Kayleigh Steel, Expert by experience
We opened with some excellent short introductions from our speakers followed by a Q&A session lead by our Chair, Derek Thomas MP and Mary Glindon, the Chair of the APPG on Parkinson’s. To find out what was discussed, please see the minutes below.
